“From Here Not Here,” “Rootless,” “Silenced Scream,” and “Who”
Artist Statement
My work primarily focuses on identity, culture, and the evolving ways I perceive myself within them. Although I have centered much of my recent practice on photography, I am most inspired when experimenting across mediums to create images that feel intuitive and alive. I explore how my emotions, memories, and background shape my perspective, allowing each piece to evolve naturally from both personal reflection and creative impulse. A combination of curiosity and a genuine desire to create guides my creative process and the media I consume, including films, music, and literature. The aesthetics I absorb from these sources enable me to translate ideas and feelings into works that are both personal and connected to the broader visual language of contemporary culture.
